SGOD Conducts Orientation on Guidelines on the Yearly Collection of Data and Validation Processes

With the endless desire and effort of SDO Navotas to deliver quality basic education, proper allocation of budget is necessary to appropriately distribute funds and provide the needs of the school. To achieve this, accurate data must be collected and validated. Hence, concerned school personnelshould be knowledgeable on proper data gathering and validation, make the learners’ profile in the LIS and school’s profile in the BEIS updated and have comprehensive baseline data of school buildings. It is in this premise that the SGOD thru the Planning Unit together with Physical Facilities Coordinator conducted the Orientation on the Guidelines on the Yearly Collection of Data and Validation Processeslast October 16, 2019 at Navotas Elementary School – Eusebio Ramos Hall.

In her message, OIC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Buenafe E. Sabado, challenged the participants to accurately collect and validate data on their level and submit data on the set schedule.

Dr. Gemma C. Villaluna, Chief, SGOD, emphasized that the most important supporting evidence in requesting for the construction of additional school buildings is enrolment. Thus, accurate data on access should be assured and that the newly constructed school buildings should be prioritized for classrooms use.

The orientationwas attended by the School Heads, LIS-EBEIS Coordinators and Property Custodians.Mr.Bonifacio D. Dullas IV, SEPS for Planning & Research and Mr. Paul John Galicia from Supply Unit also served as discussants.
