Dr. Al Ibañez leads the 1st Champions Planning Engagement

            The Schools Division Office, Navotas City holds its first meeting last October 8, 2019, 8:30 AM at the Division Office Conference Room under the leadership of the new OIC-Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Alejandro G. Ibañez, named as“CHAMPIONS PLANNING ENGAGEMENT”. The meeting was participated by the OIC-ASDS, Dr. Buenafe E. Sabado, the Chief of the SGOD, Dr. Gemma C. Villaluna, the Chief of the CID, Mrs. Loida O. Balasa and all the Division Supervisors and unit heads.

             The topics that were discussed in the said meeting is divided into two, the Administrative and Supervisory matters. For the Administrative matter, the topics includes; Leave forms, disbursement, ISO, cleanliness and office communications. For the Supervisory matters, Dr. Ibañez, instructed the Planning Officer to record and check suspension of classes. The CID office was ordered to issue a memorandum regarding reading programs and create an inventory of reading programs and data of non-reader together with an action plan. The Senior High focal person was directed to draft an ordinance prompting local industries in Navotas to prioritize Senior High School learners in immersion and possible employment as indicated in RA 1053.

            Dr. Ibañez also ordered the SGOD, attention to the SEPS-HRD for CPD accreditation. He also reminded the SGOD and CID Office to coordinate to avoid overlapping of activities, such as training, seminars and others. Moreover, he instructed everyone to strengthen their planning skills, and integrate planning in all Division activities.

            The Champions Planning Engagement, will be conducted every Monday to plan for every activity and keep everyone updated of its status. For our new leader, Dr. Alejandro G. Ibañez, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Officer-In-Charge, Office of the Schools Division Superintendent, everything will be successful if everything will be planned.
