The two also exchange pleasantries with principals and supervisors. The strong partnership of the City Government and the education sector can be attested by the recently earned GalingPook Award which recognized Navotas’ Accessible, Holistic and Inclusive Education (ACHIEVE) program. Dr. Ibañez is bent on strengthening this engagement and continuing initiatives started by previous superintendents that were supportive of the ACHIEVE program which includes Project GEM and the Navotaas Unified Awards.

The activity was even made more special as the two leaders surprised Mrs. Evangeline Avendano, Public School District Supervisor, with a birthday cake since the date coincides with her 64th birthday.
