            A Seminar-Workshop in Critical Content in Music and Arts was given to selected elementary teachers on December 16-17, 2019 at the Eusebio Ramos Hall of Navotas Elementary School, San Jose, Navotas City.

           The training intends to enhance the competency of teachers on the critical content in Music and Arts in the elementary level; apply basic knowledge in teaching Music and Arts and train teachers in the performance-based activities in Music and Arts.

          Dr. Alejandro G. Ibañez, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Officer-In-Charge, Office of the Schools Division Superintendent and Mrs. Loida O. Balasa, Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) Chief graced the activity and they gave encouragement to all the attendees on what they could benefit from the said seminar and as part of SDO’s initiative to help them become more effective in teaching the two MAPEH components-Music and Arts believing that elementary teachers are generalists and they have no area of concentration like in the field of Music and Arts as well.

          It was a successful conduct of the seminar-workshop as shown from the participants output presented during the closing program.
